With the support of Bluegreen, FIELDROBOTICS SRL secured over €660,000 in funding from Invitalia through the national Smart&Start program.
FIELDROBOTICS is an innovative startup and a spin-off of the University of Bologna, specialized in automatic and semi-automatic robotic systems such as drones and ground rovers equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company is structured into two main divisions: precision agriculture and search & rescue.
The flagship product is the “HammerHead” rover—a fully electric and autonomous vehicle, and a finalist for the Tractor of the Year – Toybot category at EIMA 2024.
About the project
FieldRobotics has developed HammerHead, a fully autonomous electric agricultural rover designed to perform key operations such as shredding, mechanical weeding, and pruning.
The automation of agricultural tasks, combined with the use of electric machines like HammerHead, helps reduce CO₂ emissions, improve the management of natural resources, and address the sustainability challenges currently facing the agricultural sector.
