On January 21st and 22nd, the Twin-Loop project (TwinOps and vehicle-specific Digital Twin for Software Defined EVs) was officially launched in Barcelona.
Coordinated by Mosaic Factor (Spain), this Horizon Europe-funded project brings together 13 partners, will run for 3 years, and has a budget of over €6 million.

TWIN-LOOP is built around a new opportunity enabled by the computational capabilities of both cloud systems and vehicles, through the implementation of High-Performance Computing (HPC) combined with the digitalization of Electric Vehicles (EVs) within the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture.
The project will develop an Open Framework for TwinOps tailored to electric vehicles, along with a suite of digital tools aimed at continuously improving energy consumption, hardware costs, driving experience, and vehicle resilience across the four phases of the vehicle lifecycle. The project will implement the Open Framework, integrate it with EV-specific tools, and assess its effectiveness in real-world conditions through three distinct use cases, selected for their strong relevance to the topic.
TWIN-LOOP will also focus on fostering synergies between sectors and stakeholders, aligning with European priorities and strategic partnerships such as 2ZERO and Chips JU. This alignment ensures the transferability of the project’s expected results and highlights TWIN-LOOP’s commitment to innovation management, research ambition, and market adoption within the automotive industry.
Within the project, Bluegreen leads Work Package 6: “Innovation Management, Exploitation, Dissemination and Communication.”
